This is an original mixed media (textile, paper, and oil paint) painting on canvas. This is another in the series "The Colors of Burma" from David Heath's photographs. This is a woman from the Pa O tribe, which is famous for their colorful turbans. The Pa O tribe believes they are descendants of dragons, and the women's turbans represent the head of the dragon.
This original painting was sold at the show, "The Colors of Burma", along with 6 other originals from the series. Giclees are available.
Michael Cinnamond is an artist who takes the time to see images a little different, thus representing a unique perspective for all observers. Most of his work consists of abstract photographs captured from our natural surroundings, and not staged, creating wonderful visions, moments, and objects framed in time.
