This is an original oil on canvas (24"w x 30"h) of a young girl from the 1930's Great Depression. She is waiting for the thunder to pass, and hoping it will not bring lightning that might burn the already decimated crops. She has as look of hope and reflects the sunset, which might help to end the storm.
